11/13/09 Patrick was found on the side of the road with a gash in the top of his head; vet thinks either from being hit by a car or being hit in the head by someone intentionally. Sorry to say-no way to find out who did these horrible things to him, or how long he has suffered.
Patrick is very emaciated, 20+lbs underweight and tested positive for heart worms. So it will be some time before he will be well enough to withstand heart worm treatment. Patrick has an infection in both eyes and a very bad kidney infection. He will need weeks of antibiotics to clear up the infections in his eyes, kidney and skin. Patrick has raw elbows on all legs, probably from being housed on a hard surface.
He will need months of recuperation, vet visits, medicines, lots of healthy meals and a comfy bed to lay his head. If you are able, could you please donate to help him?
